One of our Competitors has started a campaign to try to get market share on Marklin and Trix.
They are known for having high prices but the actual market conditions seems to have hit them to the point where they are ready even to lose money selling at any price.
Well, as we know that nobody can go lower than us without losing money, we will offer a 2% lower price than the price they may negotiate with you.
Of course, ONLY against items IN STOCK on their web site.
It is very easy to price an item not in stock in 10 bucks to make others that have stock go lower to comply with the promise given to be cheaper as we do.
So, if they can prove you they have the unit in stock and they give you a written price for it, we will give you an extra 2% discount on their price plus something else, a surprise.
This is valid ONLY on Marklin and Trix rolling stock, not accessories.
We have to recognize that we were badly hit by high currency exchange rates during 2011, but now, situation has changed and prices are a little bet better for us and we always have calculated our prices based in real rates paid for merchandise, what has converted in larger savings for our Customers when Euro goes down and Dollar strengthens.
