We will once again present summer new items for 2016 to all show attendees at the consumer show Intermodellbau in Dortmund that takes place April 20 to 24. Enclosed is your personal copy of the Summer New Items brochures for Märklin, Trix, and LGB. We would be delighted to welcome you to our show stand.
Here is small overview:
We introduced the LINT commuter train with rechargeable battery as a Märklin my world new item at the International Toy Fair in Nuremberg. The newly developed infrared controller has the form of a joy stick and can be held securely by children.
We received many requests to offer this commuter train along with this new infrared controller as a starter set.
We are pleased to announce the introduction of this starter set today. It was not possible to integrate this new set in the Märklin Summer New items brochure 2016, however, please visit the website at www.maerklin.de and you will find all the information you need including a picture and a product description. The first quantities of the “Lint” starter set will be available for delivery starting in September 2016.
Once again, we have something new for every model railroad fan in the offerings related to the themes of "From Ore to Steel", the impressive class 01.5 express locomotive with a tender, and modern locomotives currently in use. The class 01.5 express steam locomotive with a tender is also available in a DC version in Trix H0.
Another highlight is the ET 91 powered observation rail car in 1 Gauge that will impress you with its highly detailed construction.
The traditional series of Märklin Magazin cars for 2016 is being expanded in H0 Gauge by a 2-axle tank car with a platform for a hand brake and an end ladder for the transport of printing inks and in Z Gauge by the new developed Eanos high side gondola for the transport of wood chips.
In Minitrix, you will find the legendary class CC 6500 electric locomotive with the "TEE Capitole" car set to go with it as well as the locomotive with the unique appearance – known by the nickname "diving goggles" or "four-eyes".
In the LGB large / garden railroad area, the motive power is being expanded by the addition of the DB class 212 diesel locomotive. This locomotive has an mfx sound decoder.

New Price Lists as per June 1, 2016
Due to tightened general conditions in the procurement markets, it is necessary for us to adjust prices of several items as of June 1, 2016.
The current prices for the standard assortment and the new items can be found in the enclosed price lists. The item master file data are available for downloading in the MHI Portal. If necessary, you can also request this information directly from your internal sales contact. The discontinued items are identified in the master file data by "A". They are still available in the warehouse – subject to prior sale. These items are no longer being produced. Please place an order promptly to cover your needs.
One more note here about our product shipments in the first week of May: Due to the inventory count, no orders can be done in the period from May 2 to May 6, 2016. Please keep this in mind.
